The Cedars care home is situated in the leafy suburban village of Bowdon in south Manchester. The home itself is a beautiful Victorian villa originally built in the 1870’s, sympathetically converted and extended to provide a stylish, boutique-style care home providing high quality personal and dementia care to clients from within and beyond the borough of Trafford. From our privileged, south-facing, elevated position in the Bowdon Conservation area, The Cedars benefits from probably the best views of any care home in Trafford, looking out as we do over Bowdon Cricket and Hockey Club and with Jodrell Bank visible on the horizon on a clear day.
Our continuous investment program has maintained the lovely period character of The Cedars whilst introducing the latest in stylish comfort, technology and innovation, including smart-monitoring systems, wireless internet access and ’boutique hotel’ inspired soft furnishings, fixtures and decoration.

The care home caters for 34 residents in mainly single room, en-suited accommodation and has a range of spacious communal facilities, with large outdoor spaces and landscape designed gardens for our clients to enjoy.

Maintaining independence where possible, whilst providing opportunities for residents to be involved with their community and surroundings, are common themes at Caring UK care homes. These values are reflected heavily in the care we deliver, the wide range of activities and events we provide, and the environment we maintain.

We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission ( CQC ) and we are a member of, and maintains close links with, the national care sector representative body ‘Care England’.
