With the Health and Social Care Secretary’s recent decision to scrap dementia diagnosis rate targets from the NHS Operational Guidance 2025-26, it is clear the dementia is not one of the government’s priorities. With nearly a million people in the UK living with dementia, where a third remain undiagnosed, the voices of these individuals have been muted. We want to hear about your experiences with dementia care and support.
In response to this, Care England alongside sector experts, is seeking to gather insights from individuals living with dementia, their friends and family members, as well as their carers about their experiences with diagnosis, care, and support.
