This was the second panel of a two part series that looked at the cost of living and its impact on the adult social care sector. Watch part one here. This session focused on is recruitment and retention in the adult social care sector. It is an issue that all care providers have faced challenges with over the past few years. With 152,000 posts currently vacant in the sector, recruitment and retention is at the forefront of Care England’s agenda and this panel discussion looked to shine light on some of the ways in which care organisations can mitigate the impact of pressing workforce challenges. The three panellists were:
