Fabian Society: Support Guaranteed – The roadmap to a National Care Service

On 8 June 2023, the Fabian Society published a report entitled ‘Support Guaranteed: The roadmap to a National Care Service‘. Instigated by Wes Streeting MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and commissioned by UNISON, the report seeks to set out how to establish and develop a ‘National Care Service’ over the course of a decade. The report includes 48 recommendations for an incoming government and suggestions for a timeline for reform.
