Celebrating its 65th year as a not for profit, stand alone care home, Eventide (as it’s known locally) has recently been rated as OUTSTANDING by the CQC. The 3 bedroom house was bought in 1952 by the people of Liskeard as a memorial to those who died in the wars and its purpose was to house war widows. Today it has 25 permanent bedrooms and a designated respite room. In addition to providing residential care to people over the age of 65 years we also provide day care and respite care. Situated in east Cornwall between Bodmin moor and the south coast and only 20 miles from the Devon city of Plymouth, Liskeard is an ancient market town
