On 10 February 2023, the Department for Health and Social Care confirmed that it was making £15m available to the sector to support the international recruitment of care workers. The funding is split between 9 regions across England, with each region able to create a sub-region to apply for funding. The DHSC has now published the main contacts for each region, or sub-region. If providers are wishing to get more involved in the partnerships and influence the 23/24 applications (deadline 17 March), DHSC suggests contacting the relevant individuals, listed below.
