Cai joined Care England in August 2024 following graduating with a BA (Hons) in politics & international relations from Royal Holloway, University of London. Social care is of great importance to him as he grew up in Cardiff having first-hand experience of being an unpaid young carer for his father with a long-term disability.
Cai was elected to Runnymede Borough Council in May 2024 and brings a valuable perspective to the team as a member of a local authority.
