Lauren joined Care England as a Senior Policy Officer in August 2023.

Lauren graduated from King’s College London with a Bsc in Global Health and Social Medicine. During her degree, she examined a range of health policies globally, including ones relating to ageing and the social care sector. She also studied research methodologies.

Lauren’s previous roles include working with health technologies and Integrated Care Systems.

At Care England, her work centres around building the evidence base for research in the social care sector as well as leading various policy workstreams including workforce development, regulation and governance, and dementia.

Her wider interests include inequalities, the social determinants of health and wellbeing.
