Care England Cyber Security webinar – 28.04.22

On the 28 April 2022, at Care England’s DSIG meeting, we were joined by Katie Thorn – Project Lead at Digital Social Care and Damian Wasey – Chief Commercial Officer at Mitigo CyberSecurity. The webinar provided Care England members the opportunity to share their cyber-security experiences.


Care England Microsoft 365 Demonstration – 24.02.22


At the latest DSIG meeting, we were joined by Liam Cox, Jamie Endeley and Tom Clough from The Microsoft Champion. They provided a demonstration of several applications within the 365 package and how they could be used by care providers. The following applications were demonstrated:

– Planner: Utilising planner for social care providers
– Lists: How to use lists for action plans
– Forms: How to use forms for audits

We were also joined by Amanda Rae, Quality & Compliance Manager at Canford Healthcare. Amanda provided an overview of how she had utilised Microsoft 365 at Canford and the benefits it brough


End of Year Briefing 14.12.21 – Webinar
Care England hosted an end of year briefing for DSIG. We were joined by Saad Baig, Programme Delivery Manager, at Hallmark Care Homes who provided a presentation on a business intelligence system that Hallmark are currently building.

Care England webinar – Remote Clinical Monitoring Its present and future in social care (28 July 2021, 14:00-15:00)


On July 28 2021 Care England hosted a webinar on remote monitoring, which over the past 18 months remote monitoring has become a real option for the people we care for and has the potential to transform how we care. We were joined by an expert panel with colleagues from NHSX, from Warwickshire North CCG, from Whzan Digital Health and from Blackadder Corporation. They all shared their experience, expertise and views on how we could use remote monitoring to enhance how we care. The panel line up was as follows:
